Leroy johnson started out in the music industry by creating a sound system in sheperds bush back in the 80s with his two brothers (Kongo and Bassline Skully) this sound was called E.M.G studio. This sound was very popular in the ladbroke grove/nottinghill area with leroy playing soul and raregrooves and his brother playing Reggea and revival during these days his dj name was Chipie Irie Don.
After the sound system stage leroy moved on to radio presenting which he has now been doing for the last 15 years, and has presented radio programs on numerous community stations. |
