About Me
For over 41 years Dr BOB JONES has been presenting Inspirational Music. He gained his 1st residency in Chelmsford, Essex in 1971, DJ’d at 26 ofthe original Caister Soul Weekenders and is one of only 4 resident spinners to have appeared at every Southport Dance Weekend, now in it's 21year.
His passion for quality music has seen him have award winning Radio shows on London’s Kiss 100Fm and BBC Radio London. His music production has also seen him work with music giants The Temptations, Bobby Womack, Al Green and Terry Callier, amongst others.
Bob has travelled the globe, spreading the word of Inspirational music and apart from his producing, recording, record label host with Black on Black Records and Chilli Funk Records and DJ’ing activities, the good doctor contributes a monthly ‘Surgery’ column for UK specialist Black Music magazine MANIFESTO and now presents his weekly 'Surgery' radio show for Colourful radio.
It goes without saying that Dr Bob Jones is a true ambassador for quality music.
