Reggae fans will love Bob Marley's Open Air House in Orlando. The Open Air House is a Bob Marley themed night club located in Universal Studios' City Walk entertainment area. By Mark Whichard

The club is a replica of Bob Marley's home in Kingston, Jamaica, and members of Marley's family gave personal input into the design of the club. Inside the club you can view black and white photos of Bob Marley and there are also several videos on display, chronicling his life.

The displays allow you to reflect on the message of Bob Marley's music: One love and the merging of social justice, racial harmony and humanity's greatness . Once you have taken in the display and its inspiring message it is time to step into the courtyard for some great vibes and live entertainment. The open-air courtyard captures the feel of Jamaica and is the venue for nightly shows of live reggae music, starting at 8:00 PM every night.

The music is provided by well-known national bands as well as by talented local bands. The atmosphere is great and the music is guaranteed to get your toes tapping and your body swaying. In fact, the music is so good that this club has become the most popular dance venue in Orlando. If you love reggae and you love dancing, then this club will not disappoint you. While some people complain that the club is too crowded I guess that is price you have to pay when you find a venue that is really tops in its genre.

When is the best time to experience the club? If you come at 11:00 PM you can enjoy the dancing at its peak and still have time to order dinner (the kitchen closes at midnight). Inside the club you can enjoy dinner at a restaurant serving Jamaican and Caribbean food and drinks. The food will not disappoint and one of the favourite dishes is the Fried Red Snapper which is dipped in Red Stripe tempura and served with fried plantains.

Add some side dishes, like Jamaican rice and peas and you will have a great meal, but be careful to leave some space for a chocolate guava cake which is topped with fruit and caramel! In addition, there is a souvenir shop with plenty of Bob Marley memorabilia on sale. In case you are not familiar with the City Walk area where the Bob Marley club is situated, this is a special entertainment area located between the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures theme parks. It has a dozen venues featuring dancing, dining, and live music concerts.

The City Walk area itself has no admission charge, but the different clubs, restaurants and performance venues may have cover charges. The location of the Bob Marley Tribute to Freedom club is 6000 Universal Blvd Ste 730, OOrlando, FL 32819
